Hi everyone in IDL land,

Does anyone have a nice routine that does 2D histograms with colored
contours?
Ie, a front-end for hist_2d. I want to make scatter plots that have
hundreds of thousands of points in them, and unfortunately with so
many points you can't actually see where the real "action" is, so you
need a scatter-density plot instead. I have written a front-end for
imagemap (by Liam Gumley) that will do this, but it is a bit of a
kluge, and I thought someone out there might have something slicker.
