I am using various Landsat data formats and would like help finding 2
things.

1) Has anyone come up with a smart way to deal with the ragged and
offset band edges of geometrically corrected GeoTIFF and some FST
formatted Landsat data?

2) The GeoTIFF data that I am using from Landsat has a file with
metadata called *_MTL.TIF. Does anyone have any IDL code that will
parse this metadata file and read all GeoTIFF band files into ENVI?
ENVI does not currently have a reader for this Landsat format.

Any help or suggestions or thinking out loud would be greatly
appreciated...
