Associate Software Quality Engineer



We have a great entry level opportunity for a tester to join our Quality
Assurance team in testing IDL from early development through to release. The
successful candidate will be responsible for performing functional,
application, regression and performance tests on moderate to large software
projects under the guidance of senior QA Test Engineers. The person in this
position will provide feedback on testing progress and results, set up and
run test cases for assigned modules, and generally perform testing tasks to
assure that developed products meet requirements specifications and are
within quality limits and standards.



Minimum Required Skills and Qualifications:

a.. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or the sciences or equivalent
experience.
b.. Zero to three years of experience in product testing, research, or
development.
c.. Familiarity with the software development process and lifecycle.
d.. Good communication skills.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:

a.. Experience building and executing requirements-based test cases and
writing test problem reports.
b.. Experience with installation and licensing technologies.
