Hey everyone,

I'm trying to use map_proj_init using some of the features of the latest
version of GCTP. Mainly the Equal Area Cylindrical projection that was
updated in HDFEOS 2.8.

Has anyone hacked this in? I found the easy enough to change map_proj_init
stuff, but the map_proj_forward, must be already compiled? Would there be
a(n easy) way to "link" the latest GCTP libraries with the existing IDL?

Should this be a feature request to IDL?
