Hi,
a class mrDicom, which supports writing of DICOM3.0 files is
part of my library, which is available at
http://www.jubileum.lu.se/mrphysics/software/lib/index.htm
mrDicom is a subclass to IDLffDicom, but offers some additional
functionality, as
- providing direct access to Dicom data elements via their names
(e.g. via seriesNumber = mrDicom->getTagValue('rel_series_number') )
- writing of Dicom3.0 files
- removing of patient related data
Since the lib was written for use in MR imaging, only MR relevant
DICOM data tags are implemented, but it should be pretty straight
forward to add your own elements to the list. The code itself is
well documented.
Full documentation can be found at
http://www.jubileum.lu.se/mrphysics/software/lib/docu/index. html
See Classes -> mrDicom
There's also a couple of example programs how to use the objects.
The library works fine under IDL's VM.
I'll be happy to help with a possible extension of the class,
if you should find it useful - my email address can be found
on the webpage.
Cheers
Oliver
