Widgets crash on Suns

I was wondering if any of you out there running idl on Sun (SunOS 4.1,
I think) have had any problems with random crashing of widgets upon
startup of the widget. I had written a widget that was running
greatly and then all of a sudden it crashes Xwindows. Now I can't
even use ? to get help.
If any of you have any ideas on this one I would appreciate any
replies.
