B3-spline wavelet and à tours algorithm [message #43085]

I found somewhere in the literature that a good method for
data-detrending is the use of a "à trous algorithm" using wavelet
transform. In particular a good choice of wavelet transform is the
B3-spline mother wavelet (or at least this is what I found).
Does anyone of you have implemented this method on IDL.
I'm not able to find anywhere any suggestion or piece of code avaiable
thanks for all the suggestions
