I've read a few posts about deleting named structures in IDL being
impossible, but if I simply assign a previously defined structure name to be
some numerical value (e.g. mystructure=0), then
mystructure=create_struc(newstuff:newdata) should work as if mystructure
never existed, right? It seems to be doing this on my system, but I'm
wondering if some crazy behavior is going to pop up later...
