Hi Group,
I've emailed RSI asking this, but while I wait for an answer I
wonder if anyone else here can provide one.
The top line in an IDL demo code says this:
; Copyright (c) 1997-2002, Research Systems, Inc. All rights reserved.
; Unauthorized reproduction prohibited.
So my question is: What limitations must I obey with this software?
If I copy the demo to a new location on my hard disk to study it, is
that unauthorized reproduction?
If I copy it and modify it, is that allowed?
If I use the modified demo in presentations internally? At conferences?
I'm not planning on selling the software.
What license do the demos come under?
Thanks,
-k.
