Hi people,

here is a post (a bit o publicity :) ) with an example of IDLCanvas:

You can see the code (i think it is very simple and clear) and the
resulting window.

I'm working on some little details, documenting the source code and
creating some examples to use it.

If anybody is interesting on it i am glad to bring my exciting
beta-version ;)
