I just got version 4.00 of PV Wave. The "Technical Notes" say that
the minimum operating system level for SunOS is 4.1.2. We're still
at 4.1.1, so that worries me. Specifically it says "PV-WAVE CL may
operate at down level versions of these operating systems, but
differences in operating system versions may cause unexpected
behavior."

I installed it anyway and ran a quick test. The only funny thing
so far is the message
ld.so: warning: /usr/lib/libc.so.1.6 has older revision than expected 7
That's the sort of thing I would expect, and it seems pretty harmless.
Does anybody know what sort of trouble might arise?
