It seems that RSI announced IDL Applet for Lidar data called iLidar.
From the name "iLidar", I can figure out that it is based on iTools
which introduced from IDL version 6.0.
As RSI is expecting user response after trying iLidar, it is free of
charge. Why don't you go their web site (www.rsinc.com) and try it.
:-)
Also there is link for iLidar User's Manual. My quick look of the
manual shows that IDL source code is not available, it is provided in
the form of .SAV file and embedded license.
Hope this can be some help.
