Hello,

I am using IDL 6.1 for image analysis project. I am stuck at one place.
I want to compute view-shed/line of sight but I have no Idea how to do
it.

I understand that it would require DEM for the corresponding Image
which would give me idea about the terrain and that two parameters are
required.
1. To describe the elevations of an observer and of the objects to
be observed (this would be obtained from the DEM).
2. To specify limits to the observer's visibility: horizontal
directions of view, vertical directions of view, and distances between
the observer and points to be viewed.

I would appreciate if someone would throw some light or point out, on
how to compute viewshed/ line of sight for an Image using IDL.

With regards
