I'm not sure if you've had any more helpful replies, but one
way you could get the tables is to write the information into
a standardised TeX output (or LaTeX), and then just TeX, dvi
and print the postscript output using a spawned batch command.
This gives quite great quality output, but just takes some time
to set up initially.

Tim

P.S. I'd like to hear if anybody else has a better method of
producing tabulated data results :)
