Hi ,
SOme of the IDL functions return 1-D array of subscripts for the
selected regions. Just as arr[1,1] = arr[3]

Many of the IDL functions use X and Y coords explicitly. So it will not
accept those returned by the aforementioned functions.

Whats the way out (we could write a formula to convert the subscripts
to x and y form)?
