Usted debe "captura" el error con CATCH. Ponga esto en su "event
handler":

CATCH, elError
IF elError NE 0 THEN BEGIN
Catch, /Cancel
IF N_Elements(info) NE 0 THEN $
Widget_Control, info.eigenvalor, $
Set_Value='Los Valores Son Incorrectos'
RETURN
ENDIF
