I am interested in plotting data on maps which is only relevant over either the
land or the sea. Such as fire danger indices (over land only) or sea surface
temperatures (over sea only).

Similarly, I would like a map in which the continents and the sea are coloured
differently.

Can anyone help me with this? We are still using version 3, but will be getting
version 4 "shortly".
