This may seem like a really simple question, but... Can anyone help me with timers in widgets? I want to update a graphics display with new data every timer event and have written a compound widget that calculates the elapsed time. However, calculating the data involves getting values from sliders and buttons in the main widget calling the compound widget. How can I get around this, is there a way to calculate the elapsed time without having the compound widget? I can't figure it out.
