Knowledgeable people,

Sorry about the cumbersome header, wanted to make sure all the keywords
were in there.

I have a simple routine that samples a 2-D image at points specified by
XY coords in a [2,n] array. For display purposes, I am hoping to use
the IImage tool because of its zooming capability.

My problem is how to get the XY points into the IImage tool for
display. Apparently there isn't a data type specifically for point data
(_please_ tell me I'm wrong), so I need to put it in as vector data.

How do I format the data so that I can put it into IImage as data type
IDLVECTOR?
