Is there anyway of filling continents in IDL 4.0 when displaying only a
portion of the globe. The online help says that there are problems here.
Does anyone have a routine that solves these problems?

i.e., map_set
map_continents,/fill_continents
works fine, but
map_set,limit=[40,-20,65,20]
map_continents,/fill_continents
fails to fill Greenland properly, fills the Baltic Sea, but not parts of
the eastern European continents.

Is it not possible to fill the entire continents, and clip the resulting
polygons, rather than clipping the coastlines before filling them (which
is what appears to be happening)?
