Hi Guys I need help

I am trying to call Fortran in IDL.I have found couple examples and I
wrote two wrapper (both in C andFortran), that I am goind to use to one
of them. They are ready to go but
my problem is in here I could not quite understand to make a shareable
image file. I need file with the extension .dll(I use windows). I
looked at the Make_dll part but I could not understand. Is there any
way to create .dll without using Make_dll and my other question is to
create .dll
, which compiler (C or Fortran) I need. I am planing to use C wrapper
to call Fortran in IDL by using CALL_EXTERNAL, Can I use c compiler or
do I have to have Fortran compiler. If someone help me step by step, it
would be perfect.

thanks in advance and I am looking forward to hear from you guys.
