Hi all,

I was wondering if anybody has tree-based compound widget for directory
selection which is not a pop-up but can be included in other base
widgets. Similar to the left (Folder) panel in Windows Explorer.

Thanks for any info,
Benjamin

I ended up writing a routine to do this a while ago before finding
RMD_Pickfile. I've posted it on the IDL user contrib site as
'bgdirtree_widget.pro' -it should appear in a day or two. There are
still a few things that need fine tuning, but there's enough to go on..

I ran into something today you might like. It is called RMD_Pickfile
and it is on Rob Dimeo's web page. It's not *exactly* what you want,
but it would be a great starting place for getting what you want.
