Hi,

Is it possible to display a pixel image in which the pixel sizes are
different in X and Y directions? Eg. an image formed from
interferometry observations in which the telescope beam is elliptical
with different resolution along different axes. Thus when the image is
cleaned and restored, the pixel size is usually different in X and Y
(as one usually samples the beam by the same amount along both
directions).
Is there a way of telling tv that the pixel size in y is n times the
pixel size in x? Or does one have to interpolate onto a grid with the
same pixel dimensions in X and Y before displaying?
Will also be overlaying contours, though that can be easily done by
giving the X and Y arrays in physical units and using /isotropic with
/noerase.

Thanks,
Jess
