I have a binary file of floating point numbers from a Data General Nova
computer, and I've been scouring the web unsuccessfully to find the
bit-by-bit representation of a floating point number on a DG computer. Any
suggestions on how to track down this information? Eventually, I'll write an
IDL routine to decode these old file, unless someone has already done this,
but the missing information is the detailed binary format. Thanks for any
tips.
