Hello, everyone, I am new to IDL and I have a simple(?) question. I
have many ascii files (50) with the same format and I would like to
combine them into one file. How should I do it? In each file, each
line has 6 variables with the first one is the plot number. for the
same plot, the first line is the mean value for each variable and the
second line is the standard deviation for the variables. The following
is an example of the file:
612 50.294046 34.531883 0.23375815
22.902172 31.764285
612 0.077608618 0.18311485 0.0028922797
0.39409960 0.16652671
504 48.132000 34.148000 0.19627400
24.366400 30.625900
504 0.00000000 0.12934367 0.0092095361
0.40677598 0.24797775
........
Thanks.
