Binary FITS Tables <--> IDL Structures [message #4679]

I have a program, mrdtable.pro, that reads a binary FITS table into an
IDL structure. (I got this program from some folks at NASA, but the
program itself doesn't say who wrote it.)

My problem is the companion programs, mwrheader.pro and mwrdata.pro, which
should take an IDL structure and write it to a binary FITS table.
The program mwrheader.pro should write the header to a file, but it
calls something called "xcomm", which I don't seem to have. Am I doing
something wrong, or does someone out there have/know where I can get xcomm.pro?

i Can probably go bother the people who gave me the software in the first
place, if need be.
