Convert polylines to polygons [message #46790]

Hi, I just finished a tedious work of drawing a polyline vector layer
on my image mannually in ENVI - to classify my image to many
sub-regions based on topography, air flow etc. Now I want to define
polygons with the neighboring polylines, but I can't find any function
in ENVI to do this automatically! Even after I joined the neighboring
polylines in the vector parameter interface, there is still no way that
I could convert the closed polylines to a polygon. It would be really
painful if I have to re-draw all of the lines again to make polygones!

Could any of you help me out? Please!

I'd prefer to do this in ENVI, if not possible I'd also like to try IDL
or anything that works!
