I find myself stuck having to write an application in PV~WAVE instead of IDL.
I need to use the write_gif procedure that woeks so nicely in IDL, but doesn't
work in PV~WAVE. Basically, it is looking for a routine called encode_gif
that doesn't seem to be included with the IDL release. If anyone has a
write_gif routine that works under PV~WAVE, please contact me.
