Hi,
Has anyone tried running IDL on 2 monitors? I have a Radeonx600 series
graphics adaptor which allows me to use 1 monitor for the IDLDE
interface and the second monitor for my graphics windows. This has been
a great improvement as I don't have to keep switching between the
command line and the display but I can no longer control the size of
the windows. For example the xsize and ysize keywords for the WINDOW
procedure have no effect, all windows pop-up at the same size as the
last graphics window that I opened. Widgets also have arbitrary sizes.
The display is controlled using ATI software and I guess there is some
interaction between this and IDL going on.
Has anyone else encountered this problem and does anyone have a
soluiton?
Thanks,
Anne
