Hello,

In regards to the post by from:

greg ushomirskiy "typesetting math in IDL plots"
Date: Fri, Oct 3 1997 12:00 am

He was asking about displaying equations in ps output. The links from
the responses are now dead, but I was wondering has there been anything
new that has come along to do this? I know of TeXtoIDL, but that gets
rather complicated if you want to put in some partial derivatives and
"mean bars". Any information would be helpful. Thanks for the help!

Jon

For curiosity, then how to add a bar or dot to a symbol like \dot{M} in
Latex?
