Dear All,

O.K. I give up. Every second time that I

set_plot,'cgm'

then set

device,/ncar,filename='something.cgm'

the file channel allocation seems to interfere with something
else. A help,/files reorts that channel 100 has been taken for
the device output. Whenever I try to 'loadct' a colour palette
or if I try to do a 'restore' it falls over. Not with any other
graphics file devices though.

Any ideas please?

Iarla.
