Hi All,

I am using IDL6.2 on a Linux machine.
I am having problems with the following save command:

str = "path" + "filename.sav"

SAVE, /ALL, /VARIABLES, FILENAME=str

But when I look in the directory given in path, there is no saved file.

THis is an example taken straight from the book.

What is wrong?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.
