Mark,
thanks for putting up your web site, it contains lots of useful
information. Have you ever tried the vp3 codec (vp3.com). It's free and
gives very decent results just like MJPEG2000, which I agree will take
a while until it is more widely supported. There is also a successor
version running under the name theora, but I have not tried that one.

Haje

PS: Did you receive the AVI DLM I sent to you a few days a go for
testing? Or did it get filtered because of the .dll file?

Hi, Mark !
May be it's not a new for you, but there are some lossless codecs (I
have not tested it yet):
http://www.compression.ru/video/ls-codec/index_en.html (you can found
some comparision of lossless video codecs there)
http://neuron2.net/www.math.berkeley.edu/benrg/huffyuv.html
http://www.divx-digest.com/ (try to search "lossless")
Best regards,
Oleg
