Both of 'a' and 'b' are n*m arraies, then what is the mathematical
meaning of Correlate(a,b)?

I know in case a is a 2-dimensional array, then b should not be
supplied, but the IDL Correlate function does give a result of the
calculation. I am wondering the meaning of it.

Thank you very much!
