I am trying to use iPlot to generate a 2D scatterplot of points, where
each point is coloured occording to its frequency of occurance (like a
2D histogram and a scatterplot combined). The choice of point symbols
in iPlot is only limited and I was wondering whether there is a way of
adding customised symbols, such as a solid square or circle. I have
been looking at some object graphics code in the gridding wizard of
iContour (which produces a plot like I described above), but I am only
a newbie with object graphics and to extract the section of the code
that does the job seems like overkill to only change a symbol in iPlot.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks and regards,
