Hello together,

in an article about cloud microphysics I found a diagramm I would like
to reproduce with my own data.
It shows isolines of cumulated frequency of occurence depending on two
variables.
There are n data points (call them q), characterized by two measurement
categories, say a and b -> n times q(a,b)
xaxis shows a, yaxis shows b, the isoline 90% shows the area where 90 %
of data points lie inside, isoline 80 % shows the area for 80% of the
points lying inside ....
I think areas are choosen to minimize the sizes of the areas ...

Is there any chance to perform a plot like these in IDL ?

Thanks for your help in advance !

Klemens
