Hi, Folks!
I've got some questions on Catalyst Library, which is available on
David Fanning's website. I found it very useful and powerful, and
actually want to know some more details, especially various properties
of objects used in this library. I tried 'annotatewindow.pro' and
browsed the source code, to find that various specific objects like
'CatImage', 'ColorTool', 'AnnotateInteraction', etc. used in this code.
Unfortunately, I coundn't find any detailed explanation on their usage
or related 'object properties'. I read that detailed description of
this library is not yet to come as a book or an official document.
Anyway, is there any possibility of getting any unofficial material
concerning this library? My interest is the objects and their detailed
properties.
One more question is about legal limitation on using this library.
Actually, I'm developing an IDL application to be supplied to a
governmental research institute. And I found this library includes
several useful functions necessary for my IDL application program.
Then, is there any legal limitation on using this library for such
purpose? If so, I wonder how I can get permission to use it.
I found that Dr. Fanning is on travel so that he cannot respond to such
questions right now. I hope I can hear from any other person who is
related with this library.
