Does anyone know a converter which allows to translate image files e.g.
tif files into hdf files ?

Junior Member

San Diego Supercomputer Center has a suite of image manipulation
tools called IMTools. Among them is imconv, which can switch
between almost any image formats. You can probably find it
through their Web site: http://www.sdsc.edu/
