Does anyone have or know of IDL routines that
can read and write MCIDAS format files?

Could you please let me know if you get any answers.
I have been looking for a scheme to read in the TOGA-COARE
GMS-4 imagery that is in McIDAS format. I just found
the format for McIDAS image file formats. Looks
a little long. Not too bad overall. Just concerned
about byte/bit orders.

If I dont get any replies Ill be starting to write a procedure
hopefully a week or two from now. Collabarate -??
