Thanks Ken,

I'll probably hit you up for the 5 minute function if I get connected to
my database (previous post). If I can't get my data out of the database
there is little need for fancy bathymetric contours :( We're making
progress though...

I have functions to read the 5-minute land-ocean and 10-minute land data sets.
I don't know how similar these are to the ETOPO2 data. If you are interested,
drop me a line at k-bowman at tamu.edu and I'll send them to you. They are
quite short.

I have been able to display the data in 3-D using iSurface

That code is more than a bit ugly, but if you want it, I can send you the
