I am using the idlgrsurface object to produce a filled contour plot
(its faster than the idlgrcontour object and produces the same result)
and am trying to plot a line over the contour using the idlgrplot
object. This is just a vertical line which varies in location depending
on where i click within the plot. However this technique does not work.
I cannot get the vertical line to appear. If i set hide=1 in the
contour plot the vertical line is there, but when the contour is
plotted the line is not there.Of course the line is a different colour
so thats not the reason why it doesn't show up. Any ideas?
