Help needed with HPGL output of IDL [message #500]

Has anyone tried printing the hp output of IDL/WAVE on a hp printer/plotter
in VMS environment. I am having trouble printing an image from IDL on a
HP Paintjet/XL printer from VMS 5.5 environment.

Any help would be appreciated,
