Could you show us a simplified version of your code, preferably one
that can actually be executed, to demonstrate the problem? That error
message strongly implies a coding error, and not one that can be
debugged without seeing the actual code that contains the error.

I did not write any code i just use ENVI software to do the conversion,
i had obtain the data from any ftp site where they mention about using
ENVI software to use it.
