Does anybody know an easy way (or have a simple routine) to map
specific color names to their respective values for X applications in IDL ?

I'd like to a routine which will give me a specific color
which is the same across a range of different workstations.

I guess this would work in a similar way to rgb.txt for X-windows.

e.g red_col = get_color('RED')

I don't mind which IDL color table is used, just as long as I get the color I'm
after.
