Yes.
I have created an add-on hook which uses existing faces from hilit19.el to meaningfully colour .pro files. The code is faily simple as I am not a lisp expert. However we have been
using the hook now for 5 weeks and found no problems.
E-mail me if you want the code, and if there is enough interest I will post it on this
newsgroup.
