Reading CDF files on a Mac [message #50681]

Folks,

Is anyone aware of a problem with reading CDF files on
a Mac in IDL 6.3? Someone wrote to me saying he can open
the files on his PC, but not on his Mac. He gets an error
saying that the CDF file is corrupted or not supported
in the current version of IDL.

Nasa just released a new patch for CDF. Without it, I was getting the same errors. I am not using IDL 6.3, though.
