P.S. I want to point out that last year, as you know, I
was in Hawaii showing off my IDL T-shirt when these winter
meetings were planned, and this year I was in bed trying
to recover from my Africa adventure. There is NO HOPE in
trying to get these guys to meet some minimum standards
of decorum, as much as I might wish for it. :-(

Some of the Aussies aren't familiar with "snow bunnies",
apparently. (I hear they barbecue prawns for Christmas,
