Dear All,

Has anybody implemented a viewshed (visibility) algorithm in IDL for
DEMs, i.e. find out which cells in a digital elevation model are
visible from a given viewpoint. ENVI does it, but I haven't found
anything in IDL.

I am playing around with Wang's * algorithm, but I better ask first
that reinventing the wheel a zillion times.

As a quid pro quo, I have put some of the terrain algorithms I have
developped for IDL at http://www.arolla.ethz.ch/softwmodels.html

Many thanks,

Javier
