Dear All,
I am facing a problem about printing. I have developed an application
of image processing using IDl. All features are working absoloutly fine
but i got problem when i give print command using PRINT_WINDOW. The
printing is working fine on WINDOWS OS but on Redhat Enterprise Linux
it is giving the problem that PRINT output is not same as original
displayed image means it is not supporting RGB. It always print in pink
color whether the image will be Greyscale or having multiple colors.

How can i solve the problem so that i can take exact print out as
displayed image in RGB.
Please suggest.

Hi,

Your problem may be related to the decompose keyword governing colors
in IDL. I don't have experience with IDL and Linux but on Windows XP,
if I don't include the following code my graphs all turn out shades of
red.
device, decompose=0

Maybe this will help or you can do some reading on decomposing in the
IDL help file.

Jared
