Like many IDL users, I'm waiting with bated breath for the new
Eclipse-based IDE (though not as bated as it would be if I ran Linux
instead of Windows). In this connection I found the following newsgroup
exchange interesting:

>> If you compare eclipse to VS [Visual Studio], it is not that memory hungry

> And if you compare Saturn to Jupiter, it's not that big.
